Mood Dwell Ltd | mooddwell.com | Last updated: May 2025

These terms set out the basis on which Mood Dwell Ltd provides services to clients. Please read them carefully before booking. By confirming a booking with us, you agree to these terms.

1. About Us

Mood Dwell Ltd is a spatial design studio registered in England and Wales (company number 16079581). Our registered address is in London, UK. You can reach us at contact@mooddwell.com.

In these terms, 'we', 'us', and 'our' means Mood Dwell Ltd. 'You' and 'your' means the individual booking and receiving our services.

2. Our Services

We offer a range of spatial design and consultancy services. The current service options are as follows. Please refer to our website for current pricing. 

  • The Reset: A 60-minute spatial review for homeowners who feel stuck with a space they already live in. Delivered as a focused consultation followed by a written summary. 

  • The Perspective: A pre-exchange spatial review for property buyers. Designed to help you understand the full potential of a property before you commit. Includes a written Spatial Pack. 

  • The Blueprint: A single-room design service that takes a space from concept through to a clear, actionable plan. Pricing varies depending on the scope and complexity of the room. 

  • The Bespoke: A comprehensive multi-room or whole-home design engagement, tailored to your property and your vision. Scope and fee agreed in advance.

The specific deliverables, timescales, and any additional terms for your chosen service will be confirmed in your client agreement, which you will be asked to sign via Dropbox Sign before work begins.

3. Booking

Bookings are made via our online booking system (Calendly). By completing a booking, you are making an offer to purchase the relevant service. Your booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from us.

Where a client agreement is required (for The Blueprint and The Bespoke), your booking is not fully confirmed until that agreement has been signed by both parties.

4. Payment

Payment is required to secure your booking. We accept payment via Stripe, which processes card payments securely. We do not store your payment card details. 

  • The Reset and The Perspective require payment in full at the time of booking. 

  • The Blueprint requires a deposit to confirm the booking, with the balance due before the final Pack is delivered. The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of booking. 

  • The Bespoke is invoiced in agreed stages, as set out in the client agreement.

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Please check current pricing on our website.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

5.1 Cancellations and rescheduling by you

We understand that plans change. Our policy is: 

  • You may reschedule your consultation up to 48 hours before the scheduled time at no charge, using the link in your confirmation email. 

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before your consultation will not be eligible for a refund or free rescheduling. This is because we will have reserved and prepared time specifically for you. 

  • If you do not attend your consultation and have not contacted us in advance, the session fee will be forfeited.

For The Blueprint and The Bespoke, specific cancellation terms will be set out in your client agreement. Once work has begun on your project, fees for completed stages are non-refundable.

5.2 Cancellations by us

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative time or a full refund.

7. What Our Services Do Not Cover

Our services are focused on spatial design, aesthetic direction, and helping you understand the potential of a space. It is important to understand that: 

  • We do not provide structural, architectural, or engineering advice. We are not qualified structural engineers or architects, and nothing in our output should be taken as such. 

  • We do not provide planning advice. Any works that may require planning permission should be assessed by a qualified planning professional. 

  • We do not provide legal or conveyancing advice. The Perspective is a spatial review only — it is not a survey, valuation, or substitute for legal due diligence on a property purchase. 

  • We do not provide building regulations advice. You should consult a qualified professional before carrying out any construction or renovation work.

Our output is intended to inform and inspire your thinking about a space. Decisions about purchasing, renovating, or structurally altering a property remain entirely yours.

8. Intellectual Property

The tools, frameworks, methodologies, and working documents we develop in the course of our practice remain the intellectual property of Mood Dwell Ltd.

The written Pack or design output we produce for you is created specifically for you and, once full payment has been received, is yours to use for your own personal and domestic purposes. You may share it with your architect, builder, or other professionals involved in your project.

You may not reproduce, resell, or use our work commercially without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

We take our work seriously and always aim to deliver to the highest standard. However: 

  • We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from decisions you make based on our advice or recommendations. All decisions — including purchasing, renovating, or investing in a property — are yours alone.

  • We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic losses arising out of or in connection with our services.

  • Our total liability to you in connection with any service, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, is limited to the total fees paid by you for that specific engagement.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Your Information

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at mooddwell.com/privacy-policy. By using our services, you confirm that you have read and understood that policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking is the version that applies to your engagement with us. We will always publish the current version on our website.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
